
Abdollah Shams-Pirzadeh, MD
Is a Retired Rheumatologist whose remarkable career in medicine
spans more than six decades.
A graduate of Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Faculty of Medicine (1964), he went on to pursue advanced medical training, including studies at Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he deepened his expertise in rheumatology and complex autoimmune disease.
Dr. Shams-Pirzadeh devoted much of his professional life to serving patients in Baltimore County and the greater Maryland community. Known for his deeply hands-on approach, he was widely respected for taking the time to truly listen, carefully evaluate each patient, and provide thoughtful, individualized care. His practice was defined not only by clinical excellence, but by genuine compassion and long-standing relationships built with generations of families.
